Born in New Orleans Louisiana, raised in the streets of East Oakland, Mr. Town has been puttin’ it down on the underground scene for years. Heavy on the ground he has blessed the town with numerous cameos, mixed tapes, and also dropped the underground classic “The Answer” which hit the streets and had the Hip-Hop heads fiendin’ like crack.
A slave to the lab, Mr. Town has continued to put it down while gearing up for his next project “The Problem”. Mr. Town hooked up with IllGenetics after appearing on a cameo during a session with John Scanlon in the fall of 2003. After hearing the ill rhyme flavor, energy, and unique style Mr. Town brought to the plate, Scanlon approached Mr. Town to join the IllGenetics crew.
