7/06 - And we're at it again. If you haven't checked out the first video from ILLGENETICS CLICK HERE! That's right...Sinestro's new album Anyhood Anywhere dropped and you can pick it up in any of your major download sites. The video is for the Single "Comin' Up" and features NiyahBinghy. Niyah is soon to join the ILL team with his solo debut set to drop at the end of the summer. Keep your eyes open.

Other than that, we're starting production on Sinestro's next record next month, Jingle Punx are in the studio end of this month recording the tracks for the next Jingle Punx record, and George Borden is in pre-production on his next record. Speaking of the next Jingle Punx record...Look for Sinestro Enigma to team up with the Jingle Punx for a little Hip hop punk X-mas madness. Mr. Town is in the lab right now and has concoted some tasty tunes for you...Keep an eye out for Mr. Town's EP to drop end of this summer.

1/06 - Well alright then. For Educational Purposes Only is right. Welcome to the new ILLGENETICS site. Alot has changed from 2005 to 2006, and so has our content and mission. We spent countless hours redesigning the site to make the music more accessible to you. Check out the cool new features like the ILLPLAYER. Now you can listen to ILLGENETICS music before you buy. You can even leave the player open and listen at work or while you surf other sites. We have added two new artists, George Borden, and Ira Levin. So be sure to give them a listen. You won't be dissapointed.

Since we went back into development mode in late 2005 we have still been hustlin'. Like the show Nip Tuck? Well if you watched the Christmas special you probably noticed a kick a$# punk band playing some X-mas song in the back ground. That was the Jingle Punx! Other artist devleopments? Sinestro is currently in the lab finishing up his solo debut "Any Hood Any Where" which should be out in early 2006. Join the mailing list in the top right hand corner of the site and we'll keep you posted. Sinestro also placed in the top 20 on Garageband.com and holds the #1 spot on ratemyrap.com. Beyond that he will begin shootin a video for his follow up record in Feburary of 2006.

Ira Levin and George Borden. George is a rocker and composed a record that is sure to take you on a strange ride. Needless to say (if you've already listened) the album was composed, and engineered with a story in mind. See if you can pick up on it. Ira Levin has multiple personalties, and besides playing acoustic soulfolk, he moonlights as a children's song writer. Just listen. More fun than I can describe. His music has been featured on PBS and he won a National Songwriting award not too long ago.

We have launched ourselves into the digital download revolution. Click on the downloads link on the right, or visit the store, and you can find music from any of our artists in almost any of your favorite download engines. In our store you'll find links to purchase real tangible records if you're still in the mood, or direct links to puchase music directly from I-Tunes among others.

When I say change our mission, I mean that...Well kind of...Not really...I had always had the idea that ILLGENETICS would be some sort of cultural melting pot full of artists, engineers, and producers, with insanely different tastes and ideas. We got it off the ground and up and running. Now it's time to take it to it's sick and twisted home. Everyone on the team is diversified in more ways than you can imagine which gives an experience you can't get most places. Where else are you going to listen to Hip-Hop Punk Rock Childrens Songs? Beyond that we are open to ideas, comments, and submissions...So if you have a project you need to complete, or a finished project you'd like to submit, shout at us. Need production help? We can steer you in the right direction.

On another note...Watch the Grammys last year? If you check out the Projects page you'll notice some grammy nominees and even some winners. ILLGENETICS in association with Ex'pression College has worked with over 10 nominees and winners from this past years grammys including Ozomatli, Ben Harper, Los Lonely Boys, and Steve Earle.
